Three-Day Individual Workshop - Burbank, California
The purpose of the workshop is to demonstrate and teach student how to light and create Mood according to mind vision without looking into Monitor and/or Camera. Upon realization of Lighting, the camera is switched on and Created Image displayed on the monitor for comparison with Intended Look.
This workshop is about realization of Dramatic Film Look in Video through demonstration and hands-on with camera and light.
Needless to say, ability to "light from the mind" (the film way) can save producer money on prelight day eliminating necessity of renting expensive camera and monitor. Being able to light from imagination enables one to engage into the nature of creative process. In today's reality only amateurs afford lighting from improvisation. 90% of real lighting is about execution of mind image that originated prior to entering location.
